Matteo Trevisan is a documentary photographer and videomaker, represented by the agency Contrasto, who divides his time between Rome, the city where he lives and works, and Gorizia, his place of origin.
In 2018, after studying photography at the Istituto Superiore di Fotografia e Comunicazione Integrata in Rome, he started working as a photographer and videomaker. Trevisan's projects mainly focus on social issues, particulary related to the environment and anthropology and his photographs have been published in major magazines such as the New York Times, The Guardian, The Wall Street Journal, Internazionale, National Geographic Italia, Espresso and more.
He is currently working on a personal project on the italian region Friuli Venezia Giulia and on a long-term project about the community of the Valle di Susa.
Since 2020, he has been working with the different associations, NGO and important istitutions like GreenPeace, UNESCO and "On the trail of the glaciers".
